Footwear
It is my belief that leather goods for the feet are not "done" until broken in, and by that
point they're too scuffed up to photograph. This is my excuse for only having a handful
of examples of the hundred and ten pairs of custom footwear I've made over the years.

Felt Boot

This was my first and only attempt at one-piece felt footwear. I wanted something wool to sew my first round of stag plaques to. This photo also shows one of my high-use gold needles. This boot was eaten alive by a big dumb dog before I could make a mate for it. wool and brass

Lothar's Boots

These boots were designed after woodcut renderings by Albrecht Durer. The buckles are cuttlefish bone castings by Gaukler Medieval Wares.
